Kevin Slick has been performing, writing, and recording a wide variety of traditional and original music for over 35 years. He plays mostly traditional bluegrass with Steel Pennies and mostly progressive bluegrass with The Savage Hearts. A talented multi-instrumentalist (guitar, mandolin, banjo), he has recorded over 30 albums either as a solo artist or as part of a group. Kevin is also a photographer, visual artist and school teacher.

If you play guitar, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, bass, or dobro... you can be part of a bluegrass jam.

Only requirements:

  • You must be able to tune your instrument (electronic tuning devices welcome) and
  • change smoothly between G, C, D, and A. (Fiddles and basses need to know which notes work with which chords)
